Mission Statement

Altar Society is dedicated to the maintenance and arrangement of all Altar obligations. To include daily, seasonal and special Mass celebrations with the direction and approval of the Parish Priest.

Membership

The Altar Society is open to all members of Divine Providence Catholic Church.

What We Do

Set up wine and Host for all Masses
Set up for Weddings, Quinceañeras and Funerals
Set up for Holy Days of Obligation
Set up for Lent and Advent

Fundraisers

Members actively help raise funds for Altar needs through various sales: Candles

What We Buy

Wine and Host, Candles, Altar Cloths/Linen, Cleaning Supplies, Decorations

What We Clean

Sweep and clean Altar floor; Vacuum carpet front area; Dust; Clean glass; Clean and refill Holy Water; Clean and Sanitize Altar; Clean candle area; Wash and iron all Linen; Clean brass
