This includes lectors who proclaim scriptural passages, altar servers, cantors and music ministers, ministers of Holy Communion who serve during Mass and/or take Holy Communion to the sick and homebound, and ushers who direct the seating and procession of the assembly.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
(Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión)

The extraordinary ministers help the priest during the celebration of the Eucharist by distributing the body and blood of Christ. To be a Eucharistic minister, one must be a Catholic in good standing, living a worthy Catholic life: baptized, have made first communion, confirmed, single or married by the Church and living a worthy sacramental life.
Los ministros extraordinarios ayudan al sacerdote durante la celebración de la Santa Misa en distribuir el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo. Los requisitos para ser ministro extraordinario son que la persona lleve una vida sacramental digna, estar bautizado, confirmado, haber hecho la primera comunión, y estar soltero o casado por la Iglesia.

Lectors help in the celebration of the Eucharist by proclaiming the Word of God. They must have good skills of public speaking and must be catholic in good standing.
Los lectores ayudan en la santa Misa en la proclamación de la Palabra de Dios. Deben tener habilidad para hablar en público y llevar una vida Católica digna.

The music ministry helps the community worship by offering the gifts and talents of their voices at the different celebrations.

Ushers (Ujieres)

The Ushers' main tasks and responsibilities include meeting and welcoming parishioners as they enter the church, assisting them in finding seats, distributing bulletins, choosing the gift bearers, and taking up the collection.

Las principales tareas y responsabilidades de los ujieres incluyen recibir y dar la bienvenida a los feligreses cuando lleguen a la iglesia, ayudarlos a encontrar asientos, distribuir boletines, elegir a los portadores de regalos y recoger la colecta.

Cada tercer sábado del mes en la iglesia después de la Santa Misa de 6:30PM

Los Adoradores Nocturnos son todos los hombres, mujeres y niños (Tarsicios y Ineses) que voluntariamente juraron a Jesús Sacramentado, ofrecerle cada mes una noche de amor y sacrificio ante su Santísima presencia, en reparación de sus faltas y las del mundo entero.

Agua Viva

Se reúne cada viernes a las 7PM en la iglesia

La Comunidad de Agua Viva es un grupo donde las familias se reúnen los Viernes para hacer alabanza, compartimiento de la palabra de Dios, y crecimiento como familias y como grupo. También dirigen el retiro de Sanando Corazones y la adoracion al santisimo el primer viernes de cada mes.
La intención de este ministerio es animar y formar a las familias, jóvenes y adultos a perseverar en la fe católica. Cada viernes consiste de predicadores concierto de alabanza, obras dramáticas, testimonios y/o oraciones. Celebran la Santa Misa cada Primer viernes del mes seguida por una hora de adoración ante el Santísimo Sacramento.

Altar Society
(Sociedad del Altar)

Mission Statement: Altar Society is dedicated to the maintenance and arrangement of all Altar obligations. To include daily, seasonal and special Mass celebrations with the direction and approval of the Parish Priest.

Membership: The Altar Society is open to all members of Divine Providence Catholic Church.

What We Do

Set up wine and Host for all Masses
Set up for Weddings, Quinceañeras and Funerals
Set up for Holy Days of Obligation
Set up for Lent and Advent

Fundraisers: Members actively help raise funds for Altar needs through various sales: Candles

Declaración de la Misión:
Los Apóstoles Eucarísticos de la Divina Misericordia bajo el patronazgo de “la Siempre Perfecta Virgen Santa Maria” de Guadalupe, es un Apostolado Católico Romano sin fines de lucro que pertenece a la Consagración de los Marianos de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Santísima Virgen María, con sede en Stockbridge, Massachusetts, Estados Unidos de América.

Nuestra Misión:

Profesar y proclamar la verdad de la Presencia Real de Jesús en la Sagrada Eucaristía y promover lo mas posible la Adoración Perpetua al Santísimo Sacramento y el ofrecimiento a cada hora de la Coronilla a la Divina Misericordia por los agonizantes.
Llevar a un mundo doliente el Mensaje se la Divina Misericordia y su Devoción de acuerdo a las revelaciones otorgadas a través de Santa Faustina Kowalska;
Formar pequeños grupos de fe, llamados cenáculos, los cuales se reúnen para:
- Orar y fomentar vocaciones al Sacerdocio y la vida Religiosa;
- Orar y trabajar para poner fin al flagelo del aborto en
el mundo;
- Experimentar el esplendor de nuestra Fe Católica mediante el
estudio de las Sagradas Escrituras, El Catecismo de la Iglesia
Católica, y el Diario de Santa Faustina Kowalska.
Animar a los miembros en el ejercito de su Fe, a través de las obras espirituales y corporales de misericordia, y ayudar a la gente a volverse mas sensible al don y belleza de cada vida humana, especialmente a través del cuidado de los “leprosos” de nuestros días – los marginados, los abandonados, los ancianos y los moribundos.

Couples for Christ

CFC is a Catholic movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life.

CFC couples have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising families grounded in Christian values, in the service and love of God.

Mission:
Building the Church of the Home; Building the Church of the Poor

Committed to live in God's righteousness and holiness, evangelizing people through a life of love and service;
Work for the renewal of families that serve God and build generations of Christian leaders;
Pursue Total Christian Liberation through social justice, respect for life, and work with the poor

Grupo de Oración

Cada jueves a las 7PM en la Capilla

El grupo de Oracion se reúnen los Jueves para hacer alabanza, compartimiento de la palabra de Dios, y crecimiento como familias y como grupo en la capilla. Tambien organizan las misas de sancion que se lleva acabo el primer jueves del mes.

Guadalupanos

Los Guadalupanos son un grupo de hombres y mujeres con devoción especial a la Santísima Madre de Dios, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. El grupo organiza rosarios y la celebración a la Virgen de Guadalupe cada 12 de Diciembre.

Holy Name Society
(Sociedad del Santo Nombre)

Meetings every 2nd Monday at 7PM in St. Theresa room

A Mass is dedicated to Jesus Christ every second Sunday of the month in His honor. Within this Mass, members recite their pledge where they reaffirm ourselves to him and his teaching which includes practicing our religion, refrain from profanity among several things. And try to always be of service to one another as our Lord would have done.

In addition, members help with the parish by ushering during Mass, have kitchen duties to raise funds both for the parish and for the group. They help when the priest(s) requests help. Members help out with the parish festival. Some help with the Beer booth as needed and others will participate in the hamburger booth. They also participate in the Lenten celebration as well as during the Christmas season. Holy Name promotes the Holy Rosary by providing pamphlets on how to pray the Rosary.

Archdiocesan Union of the Holy Name Societies: Outside the parish they have a devotional Hour of Prayer the fourth Sunday of the month at different parishes throughout the Archdiocese that also
have Holy Name Chapters. The Hour of Prayer is held at 3:00 PM on that Sunday. The AUHNS also has a yearly Baby Needs Drive where they ask for donations to help women who chose not to abort
their child or are abused by their partner and need help with their children.

And above all the Holy Name Society welcomes both men and women as we are brothers and sisters in Christ and as HNS members are to honored to praise His Name.

Ministerio de Biblias

Proveen Biblias a aquellos que necesitan una Biblia; el dinero no debe ser un impedimento para no leer la Biblia. La Biblia se da en intercambio del compromiso que la persona hace a Dios de leer y proclamar la palabra de Dios.

1st and 2nd Wednesday at 7PM in St. Theresa

The youth group is made up of teenagers who meet every 1st and 2nd Wednesday to reflect, pray and grow together as teens through different activities.
